Tripling Our Support

LOA has tripled our commitment to the Phnom Penh Gate Program, taking on an extra 100 girls.

Cambodian Women’s Crisis Centre approached Lotus Outreach Australia with a request we could not deny. Earlier in the year a European donor withdrew their support of 100 girls in the Gate Program due to financial difficulties, and without a new donor, these girls would have been left with nothing.

LOA decided to take on these girls, ensuring they have the school supplies, transport, medical support and the monitoring they need to successfully remain in school and out of the worst forms of child labour.
