Lotus Outreach Australia is an independent, secular, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the living conditions of vulnerable children and their communities in our region through education and healthcare.
Our vision
where every child has access to education, healthcare and security,
where no child is harmed.
- Since 1993, Lotus Outreach (formerly known as White Lotus) has been working amongst some of the most disadvantaged communities in Asia to improve educational opportunities for their children and help them build self-reliant and dignified lives.
- In India, Bhutan and more recently, Cambodia, Lotus Outreach works in partnership with respected local agencies to fund practical programs in education, vocational training, health care, counselling and advocacy of the rights of women and children.
We fund programs that offer viable pathways for children at risk - especially young girls.
- Our primary focus is on the empowerment of girls through education, especially those whose poverty and limited opportunities put them at risk of being trafficked into prostitution and a life of slavery.
- Lotus Outreach Australia is part of the worldwide federation of Lotus Outreach organizations in the USA, Canada, UK, Taiwan, Hong Hong, Brazil, Germany and France.
